Abstrak

Masa neonatal (28 hari pertama kehidupan) adalah waktu yang sangat rentan untuk kelangsungan hidup anak. Kematian neonatal menjadi penyebab utama 2,7 juta kematian atau sebesar 45% kematian anak dibawah usia lima tahun. Sementara itu, sebanyak 52% kematian terjadi pada masa neonatal di wilayah Asia Tengara. Systematic review dilakukan dengan melakukan enelusuran literatur di internet melalui database PubMed, ProQuest, dan EBSCO. Dari hasil systematic review diketahui bahwa prematur memiliki hubungan dengan kematian neonatal di Asia Tenggara. Berdasarkan penyebab utama kematian neonatal, diharapkan memberikan perawatan intensif terhadap bayi prematur sehingga dapat menurunkan angka kematian neonatal, khususnya di Asia Tenggara.
