Implementasi Fisioterapi Dada Pada Asuhan Keperawatan Dengan Bersihan Jalan Napas Tidak Efektif Pada Pasien Paru Obstruktif Kronik (PPOK)

Sesak nafas dan produksi sputum berlebih adalah tanda penyakit paru obstruktif kronis (PPOK). Produksi sputum berlebih mengganggu kepatenan jalan nafas. Penelitian ini menyelidiki penerapan fisioterapi dada dalam perawatan pasien dengan Penyakit Paru Obstruktif Kronis (PPOK), dengan fokus pada dampaknya terhadap pembersihan jalan napas dan fungsi pernapasan. Fisioterapi dada mencakup teknik seperti perkusi, getaran, drainase postural, dan latihan pernapasan yang dirancang untuk melonggarkan dan memobilisasi sekresi, sehingga meningkatkan kebersihan jalan napas dan meningkatkan fungsi pernapasan. Penelitian kualitatif ini dilakukan di Ruang Anggrek Rumah Sakit Muntilan, yang melibatkan dua pasien PPOK selama enam hari. Pengumpulan data meliputi formulir penilaian pasien, daftar periksa pelaksanaan batuk efektif, dan format observasi untuk masalah mayor dan minor yang berkaitan dengan bersihan jalan napas yang tidak efektif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa setelah tiga hari menjalani fisioterapi dada, satu responden (Responden 1) menunjukkan perbaikan minimal pada pembersihan sekret, sementara pasien lainnya (Responden 2) mengalami pembersihan sekret yang efektif. Kesimpulan dalam penelitian in I adalah bahwa meskipun fisioterapi dada efektif dalam meningkat jalan napas dan pembersihan sekret, penelitian lanjutan sangat penting untuk mengoptimalkan penerapannya dan meningkatkan hasil jangka panjang pasien.
