Pengalaman Perempuan dengan Unmet Need dalam Pengambilan Keputusan Penggunaan Kontrasepsi di Jombang: Studi Fenomenologi

Kehamilan tidak diinginkan meningkatkan risiko kematian ibu dan stunting akibat perencanaan keluarga yang kurang optimal serta tingginya unmet need kontrasepsi modern. Prevalensi unmet need di Kabupaten Jombang mencapai 9,25% pada tahun 2023. Tujuan penelitian mengeksplorasi pengalaman perempuan dalam pengambilan keputusan penggunaan kontrasepsi di Kabupaten Jombang. Metode penelitian kualitatif dengan desain fenomenologi. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam pada 6 perempuan dengan unmet need kontrasepsi modern menggunakan purposive sampling. Analisis data menggunakan analisis tematik menurut Creswell. Hasil penelitian bahwa keputusan penggunaan kontrasepsi dipengaruhi oleh kekhawatiran efek samping, kenyamanan, norma budaya dan agama, akses informasi, serta peran pasangan. Metode tradisional dipilih sebagai alternatif pengaturan jarak kehamilan karena dianggap lebih aman dan sesuai kepercayaan, meskipun memiliki risiko kegagalan lebih tinggi. Penggunaan kontrasepsi dipengaruhi oleh pengalaman reproduksi, nilai budaya, akses informasi, dan peran pasangan. Konseling empatik serta keterlibatan pasangan diperlukan untuk meningkatkan penggunaan kontrasepsi modern.
