Pengembangan Modul Ireine’s Education Sebagai Modul Edukasi Kesehatan Gigi Bagi Guru PAUD

Guru PAUD membutuhkan panduan yang sistematis dan mudah diterapkan dalam menyampaikan edukasi kesehatan gigi kepada anak. Modul yang terstruktur dapat memudahkan guru dalam mengajarkan kebiasaan menggosok gigi yang benar. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengembangkan dan menguji kelayakan modul “Ireine’s Education Model” sebagai media edukasi kesehatan gigi bagi guru PAUD. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Research and Development (R&D) dengan model Borg & Gall. Tahapan penelitian meliputi analisis kebutuhan, pengembangan modul, validasi ahli, uji coba terbatas, dan revisi. Proses validasi dilakukan oleh ahli pendidikan, promosi kesehatan, dan media. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah angket validasi, lembar observasi, dan kuesioner kepuasan guru. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa modifikasi Ireine’s Education Model terbukti layak sebagai model untuk pelaksanaan pelatihan guru dan orang tua dalam meningkatkan keterampilan menggosok gigi anak prasekolah. Kelayakan ini terbukti secara statistik signifikan dengan nilai p-value 0,006. Uji coba menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman guru dalam menyampaikan materi kesehatan gigi sehingga modul ini dapat digunakan sebagai media edukasi kesehatan gigi bagi guru PAUD. Kesimpulan penelitian ini yaitu modul “Ireine’s Education Model” layak dan efektif digunakan sebagai panduan edukasi kesehatan gigi bagi guru PAUD. Modul ini dapat diimplementasikan secara luas untuk mendukung program kesehatan gigi di sekolah.
