JOURNAL OWNERSHIP AND MANAGEMENT INFORMATION

Journal Ownership

Official Journal Owner: Yayasan Jompa Research and Development

The journal owner is responsible for the overall organizational governance of the journal and for ensuring that appropriate publishing and management arrangements are in place. Journal ownership does not confer the authority to override scientific editorial decisions for commercial or personal interests.

Publisher

Publishing Organization: Yayasan Jompa Research and Development

Publisher's Website: jomparnd.com

The publisher provides organizational, administrative, technical, and production support for the journal. Its responsibilities include supporting the publishing platform, publication workflows, policy implementation, and the handling of publication integrity concerns.

The publisher supports planning for electronic archiving and preservation, as described in the Electronic Archiving section below. These management responsibilities do not, by themselves, establish the journal's participation in any external preservation service.

Editorial Management

  • Editor-in-Chief: Provides scientific leadership and oversees editorial standards, peer-review quality, and publication decisions.

  • Managing Editor: Coordinates editorial administration, manuscript tracking, communications, and production arrangements in accordance with journal policies.

  • Editorial Board Members and Handling Editors: Provide subject-specific expertise and carry out editorial duties, including reviewer selection and manuscript assessment.

  • Reviewers: Provide independent scientific assessments to support editorial decisions. Reviewers do not make final publication decisions on behalf of the journal.

The names, affiliations, and positions of current editorial team members are listed on the Editorial Team page of the journal's website. This page serves as the authoritative reference for the current editorial board composition.

Editorial Independence

Publication decisions are made by the Editor-in-Chief or an authorized handling editor based on scientific merit, originality, methodological quality, relevance, research integrity, and the journal's editorial policies.

The interests of the owner, payments from authors, advertising, sponsorship, and personal or institutional relationships must not improperly influence the peer-review process or manuscript acceptance decisions. Payment of publication fees, where applicable, does not guarantee manuscript acceptance.

Editors who have conflicts of interest must not handle the relevant manuscripts or related integrity matters. Such cases must be reassigned for independent assessment in accordance with journal policy.

Journal Ownership and Article Copyright

Journal ownership does not transfer the copyright of published articles to the journal owner or publisher. Article copyright, publication permissions, and reuse rights are governed by the Copyright and Licensing section below.

ELECTRONIC ARCHIVING AND PRESERVATION

Electronic Archiving

Electronic archiving under this policy refers to the storage and protection of published articles and associated records. Its purpose is to support the integrity, recovery, and continued availability of the scholarly record.

The journal distinguishes between the following forms of archiving:

  • Online Publication Archive: Access to previously published issues and articles through the journal's website.

  • Electronic Backups: Copies of publication files and system records intended to support recovery following data loss or system disruption.

  • Long-Term Digital Preservation: Arrangements intended to maintain access to published content even if the journal's or publisher's website ceases to operate.

  • Author Self-Archiving: Permission for authors to deposit manuscript versions in repositories, as described separately below.

Preservation status: This policy does not identify a specific external preservation service or a verified preservation coverage arrangement. The availability of articles on the journal's website, permission to deposit manuscripts in repositories, and the assignment of DOIs must not be regarded as evidence of independent long-term digital preservation.

Preservation planning: The journal seeks to establish and document arrangements covering published article files, bibliographic metadata, related supplementary materials, and notices of corrections or retractions where necessary. Implementation details should identify the storage or preservation provider, content coverage, deposit or backup frequency, recovery procedures, and continued access arrangements in the event that the journal or publisher ceases operations.

Statements that content is preserved through a particular service will be published only after participation and content deposit have been verified. Planned arrangements must be clearly distinguished from services that are already operational.

COPYRIGHT AND LICENSING POLICY

JUKEJ: Jurnal Kesehatan Jompa operates a copyright model under which authors retain copyright in their published works. Articles are made available under an open Creative Commons license governing the reuse of published material.

The following sections explain article copyright, publication permissions, public reuse rights, and author self-archiving. The organizational ownership and management of the journal are addressed separately above.

Copyright

Authors retain copyright in articles published by JUKEJ: Jurnal Kesehatan Jompa. Transfer of copyright to the journal, owner, or publisher is not required as a condition of publication.

Publication permission: By agreeing to the publication of an accepted manuscript, authors grant the journal first-publication rights and a non-exclusive license to publish, reproduce, distribute, archive, preserve, and make the article available to the public as part of the scholarly record.

Author ownership: This permission does not transfer copyright ownership. Authors retain the right to reuse their work, subject to any applicable third-party rights.

Public reuse: Articles published under the journal's current licensing policy are licensed under CC BY-SA 4.0, unless otherwise stated. Reuse conditions are described in the License section. For previously published articles, the license stated on each individual article takes precedence.

Author responsibilities: Authors must hold the necessary rights to grant publication permission, obtain the agreement of all co-authors, and secure any permissions required for the use of third-party materials. Any different rights or licensing conditions must be clearly stated.

Copyright notice: Published articles must identify the authors as copyright holders and state the year of publication. This notice does not replace the Creative Commons license statement.

Example: Copyright © 2026 [Author Name].

Preservation permission: Permission to archive or preserve an article does not, by itself, establish that the article has been deposited with an external service. Preservation status is described in the Electronic Archiving section.

Authors' Rights to Publish and Reuse Their Work

Authors retain the right to use, share, distribute, reproduce, and archive their work in accordance with the applicable rights and licensing terms.

Authors may incorporate their published work into theses, dissertations, books, teaching materials, repositories, or other scholarly works, provided that the original publication in JUKEJ: Jurnal Kesehatan Jompa is properly acknowledged and third-party rights are respected.

Where available, authors are encouraged to include the DOI and a link to the journal's official published version of the article (Version of Record) when reusing or distributing their work.

These author rights do not invalidate permissions already granted to other users under the Creative Commons license attached to the article.

License

Articles published under this policy are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA 4.0), unless otherwise stated. For previously published material, consult the license specified on the individual article.

Under this license, users are permitted to:

  • Share: Copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format.

  • Adapt: Remix, transform, and build upon the material for any purpose, including commercial purposes.

These permissions are subject to the following conditions:

  • Attribution: Users must provide appropriate credit, include a link to the license, and indicate whether changes were made. Attribution must not imply endorsement by the authors or publisher.

  • ShareAlike: Adapted material must be distributed under CC BY-SA 4.0 or a license permitted under its compatibility provisions.

  • No Additional Restrictions: Users may not apply legal terms or technological measures that restrict the rights granted by the license.

Other applicable rights, including privacy rights, publicity rights, and moral rights, must also be respected. The complete terms are available in the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License.

Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (license logo)

Unless otherwise stated, articles published under this policy are licensed under CC BY-SA 4.0.

Third-Party Materials

The CC BY-SA 4.0 license applies to original content in an article unless otherwise stated.

Figures, photographs, tables, datasets, and other third-party materials reused in an article may be subject to separate copyright or licensing terms. Materials excluded from the article's license must be clearly identified through source captions or accompanying notices.

Authors are responsible for obtaining the necessary permissions and properly acknowledging original sources.

Users wishing to reuse excluded materials must comply with the applicable licensing terms or obtain permission from the relevant rights holder, unless the intended use is permitted by law.

Self-Archiving and Repository Policy

Jompa Abdi: Jurnal Pengabdian Masyarakat permits authors to deposit manuscripts in institutional repositories, subject-specific repositories, personal academic websites, and other appropriate open-access repositories.

Authors may archive the following versions:

  • Submitted Manuscript: The version submitted before peer review.

  • Accepted Manuscript: The version accepted after peer review but before the journal's final formatting and typesetting.

  • Version of Record: The final article as published by the journal.

The journal does not impose an embargo period on author self-archiving.

Each deposited version must be clearly identified. After publication, authors must include the complete citation, DOI, and a link to the official version of the article on the journal's website, where available.

The final published version may be redistributed under the license stated on the article. Authors must respect any third-party rights separately identified in all archived versions.

Repository copies must include information about any subsequent correction or retraction, where applicable, and provide a link to the corresponding official journal notice.

Important distinction: Permission for author self-archiving does not establish that the journal has independently deposited all its content with a long-term digital preservation service.

Relationship to Open Access

These copyright and licensing arrangements support immediate open access while allowing authors to retain copyright in their scholarly work.

Reader access and reuse rights are distinct from long-term preservation and organizational ownership. Each is governed by a separate policy section.

Further information about reader access is provided in the journal's Access and Open Access Policy.
