Tingkat Pengetahuan Masyarakat tentang Swamedikasi Antasida dan Proton Pump Inhibitor pada Penderita Dispepsia

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui prevalensi penderita dispepsia, tingkat pengetahuan mengenai swamedikasi obat antasida dan proton pump inhibitor (PPI), serta hubungan antara tingkat pengetahuan dan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi penggunaan obat swamedikasi di RT 06 RW 13 Kelurahan Cibubur, Jakarta Timur. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan survei. Populasi penelitian ini adalah 520 warga dengan sampel yang dihitung menggunakan rumus Slovin sebanyak 84 orang. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner online dan manual, mencakup pengetahuan tentang swamedikasi dan praktik penggunaan obat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar responden mengalami gejala dispepsia, dengan keluhan perut terasa penuh setelah makan (55,1%). Tingkat pengetahuan umum responden mengenai swamedikasi antasida dan PPI sebagian besar berada pada kategori kurang (55,1%). Analisis Chi-Square menunjukkan bahwa jenis pekerjaan memiliki hubungan signifikan dengan tingkat pengetahuan swamedikasi (p-value > 0,05), sementara jenis kelamin, usia, dan pendidikan tidak berhubungan signifikan dengan masing-masing p-value >0,367, >0,496, dan >0,859. Pengetahuan tentang penggunaan antasida (50,7%) dan PPI (63,3%) masih tergolong kurang. Terakhir, pendidikan dan jenis pekerjaan berhubungan signifikan terhadap kategori swamedikasi. Hasil ini menunjukkan perlunya peningkatan edukasi terkait swamedikasi di masyarakat.
