Publication Frequency

Jompa Abdi: Jurnal Pengabdian Masyarakat is published four times a year, with regular issues released in March, June, September, and December.

Each issue typically contains a minimum of 5 articles, subject to editorial quality requirements and the availability of manuscripts that successfully complete the peer-review and editorial processes.

Manuscript Submission Schedule

Manuscripts may be submitted throughout the year. The journal operates a continuous submission system, so authors do not need to wait for a specific submission period.

Accepted manuscripts are scheduled for publication in an upcoming issue according to the journal’s publication calendar, editorial workflow, completion of revisions, copyediting, production readiness, and available issue capacity.

Editorial and Review Timeline

The journal aims to complete the initial editorial assessment and peer-review process efficiently while maintaining appropriate academic standards.

An editorial decision is generally expected within approximately 2–3 months from the date of submission. However, the actual processing time may vary depending on:

  • The scope and complexity of the manuscript;

  • Reviewer availability;

  • The number and extent of required revision rounds;

  • The responsiveness of the authors;

  • Additional ethical or methodological assessments, where necessary; and

Publication Scheduling

Once a manuscript has been accepted, it proceeds through the journal’s production stages, which may include copyediting, proofreading, layout preparation, metadata verification, and final approval for publication.

The assignment of an accepted article to a particular issue is determined by the editorial board based on publication readiness, thematic suitability where applicable, and the available capacity of the scheduled issue.
