Empirical studies reporting original findings based on quantitative, qualitative, or mixed-methods research, particularly those related to community service activities. Manuscripts should present a clear problem statement, explain the methods or approaches used, and discuss the findings and their contributions to the advancement of knowledge, community empowerment, or professional practice.
-
Conceptual and Theoretical Articles
Articles that develop, refine, integrate, or critically examine concepts, theories, models, or frameworks relevant to community service and community development. Manuscripts must present a coherent scholarly argument grounded in relevant literature and demonstrate a clear conceptual or theoretical contribution to community engagement and empowerment.
-
Systematic Literature Reviews and Bibliometric Studies
Studies that systematically synthesize existing research or examine publication patterns in relevant scholarly fields. Manuscripts should adequately explain their search strategies, data sources, selection criteria, and analytical procedures to ensure transparency and reproducibility.
-
Case Studies
Research-based analyses of community service programs, organizations, enterprises, communities, policies, or implementation practices. Manuscripts should explain the rationale for case selection, data collection, and analysis, and demonstrate implications that extend beyond a purely descriptive account of the case.
Submission Requirements
Authors must identify the manuscript type during submission. Each submission must demonstrate originality, an adequate scholarly foundation, a clear contribution, and methods or analytical approaches appropriate to the manuscript type.
For articles reporting community service activities, authors should clearly describe the problems addressed, objectives, implementation methods, community participation, outcomes, and contributions to community empowerment or development, as appropriate to the nature of the activity.
Manuscript Preparation
Authors must follow the journal's Author Guidelines and official manuscript template. The structure of conceptual articles, literature reviews, case studies, and other manuscript types may be adapted to the nature of the work. Any necessary departures from the standard research article structure should be explained to the editor.
